Concerning Wolverine i would suggest topping out at 5. He's so aggressive that often you will Ko your opponent by the fifth or sixth turn. Try playing without Colossus and Luke Cage and instead add Namor(aside from Storm there is no other sources of Flight and Hope Summers becomes that much better) and maybe Beast (nice extra card draw to help get your X-Factors). You'll want to attack with Wolverine as soon as possible to level up and you should be good to go.
I've never played or played against Storm so i'm not sure i can really help you there. I do know that she's a lot like Wolverine in that she is super aggro and quite easy to level up so they may be very similar in play style.
Good luck!

If you look at the bottom of Michael Barnes' article, he makes some suggestions for updating that Storm list - vsheadquarters.com/tournament-reports/storming-to-2nd-place . In particular, I remember him recommending 4 Namor and only 1 power-up for Storm. I played a few games of the updated list against a buddy, and it seemed really effective.

I've used Barnes' modified list but I think I run 3 X-Factor and removed the 1 Storm power-up and 1 PT or Loc.
The good thing about X-Factor is it helps against defensive bricks or Think Agains and also missed drops since you can swing with Storm twice (once to clear out a front row flyer and then again against the MC).
It can actually hang with Thanos decks as you get in all your damage before they can Gauntlet and even when they dump your hand, if you can top deck the right cards, you might be able to swing in for that final wound.
