Hi everyone,
First of all, I'd like to state that I really do like this game and I am excited to see Vs. System hit the table again.
It's still very early to tell how the game will change with future expansions but here are some things I like and dislike about the game today.
Like: - like the art - like how range attacks work now - like how the front and back row (how they work) - like the price point - like the fact that you get a complete set of cards - like the fact this can tear my son away from the computer screen for bit so that he can play with his dad
Dislike: - dislike the fact you can't put plot twists in your resource row anymore - dislike the fact that there are no penalties for mixing non affiliated characters with main characters - dislike the name "Marvel 2PCG - dislike the number nicks on my cards upon opening - dislike "main characters" rather decks be focused on team play
What are your dislikes and likes? without getting too negative...

Well your dislikes are all wrong? You CAN put plot twists in resource row, fd, and then not use them. Just saying. The penalty for non affiliation is you can't use certain cards which directly relates to this being an affiliated/team based game. Which makes the decks more of a team play especially with a main character which ruins your last point as well. As for the nicks on cards, that's initial printing. Next rounds of printing won't have it. The name marvel 2PCG does stink though... Especially when compared to say... Legendary. ?

Ok, you 're getting a little techical on me here : )
I should have said you can't play plot twists from your resource row (seems like a big waste you cannot play them)
Also, I guess I don't like the fact that there isn't that much theme (which means Cosmo, Mantis & Sabertooth will be in almost every deck, I probably missed a few).

I would like to see Marvel Knights next set. Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Power man and Iron Fist, Moon Knight, Punisher, Doctor Strange, The Defenders, etc. Do you agree ?

Yes, Marvel Knights would be awesome.
Please no Fantastic Four. I love Thing but that's about it, nothing else is of interest there.

Fantastic four opens the door for stuff like Doctor Doom, Silver Surfer, and Galactus. So. Yes please.

Fantastic Four opens up Cosmic characters. I want more down to earth characters. They were always fun to play in Marvel RPGs and the Marvel VS ccg. Give me Moon Knight and Ghost Rider !!!

The penalty is that they can't team attack with characters off-team. I actually really like how open deckbuilding is in this game. I bought and disliked Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn because deckbuilding felt too restricted, and I used to play Yugioh, so this game has a good balance between the two. Some people are abbreviating the game as "VS2," which I think is cleaner than Vs. 2PCG. I should mention this is my first experience with Vs. System. I never played the previous versions. My likes: -Artwork on most cards -The gameplay. It's so simple, but there's strategy and depth to deckbuilding and decision making within the game. -How Plot Twists work. I like that it's a back and forth with you and your opponent, and I like how they fully resolve before the next one is played. -How locations work to activate super powers. It comes back to decision making. Am I gonna use one for this, or something else? -How easy the game is to lean/teach -How Main Characters work (I like that there's no FTK's or OTK's like in Yugioh), I like how balanced it makes the game. -That UD "replaced" my scuffed cards from the first print run. My dislikes: -The print quality of the design on the cards. It doesn't feel polished/clean. (to clarify, I like the layout and look of the design, but the actual print quality feels kinda low). -How UD isn't pushing store league/tournament play until January or April. -How little buzz the game seems to be getting. -That DC characters aren't and probably won't be in the game. -60-card decks. 60 cards is too many. In most games I won't see a third of my deck, which makes consistency lower. I think 40 is the perfect deck size. The next sets will be Defenders and A-Force, so take from that what you will. I'm really excited for A-Force, personally. More female MC's and SC's is never a bad thing.

I don't have the rulebook in front of me but isn't decking your opponent another victory condition? If it is then they may have a faction that can do that in the future which would make a 60 card deck fine.

That wouldn't make the 60-card deck fine at all, in any way. Explain your logic. Having too few cards would make "mill" too good? It all depends on how they would design a "mill" mechanic.

Even still, something that might happen is not a legitimate reason to have a big deck. Yugioh plays 40 card decks, and mill was a viable strategy for maybe 1 or 2 metas, but it still took time to get it to go off. I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work here.

Decking isn't actually a victory condition in VS2PCG, you just stop drawing when your deck is empty. It can lead to a draw if both players' decks are empty (and neither player can successfully attack) but not a win.
As for 60 vs 40 cards, I don't really have an opinion other than to say wait and see? I'd rather have the deck size be slightly too large now and have the game not be completely degenerate a couple of sets down the line because they add in more ways to draw or search or similar effects.

Good thoughts in here. I don't have much to add, other than UDE did make good on the card quality with me and sent replacements which took a few weeks to receive.
I got them yesterday, and the core quality of the cards is definitely a step up. Good customer service goes a long way for me.

Maybe the deck size is a lite big ,it makes the game more luck depending, a bad starting can easily makes almost impossible to win. I've been thinking on using a kind of semi Mulligan where you could discard and redraw any number of cards of your starting draw what do yuo think about?
